Welcome to Optimal Training. We exist to bring you to your best self – mentally and physical enhancing you, whilst educating you through the process - aiming to make you strong for everyday life, not just in the gym.
Our aim is to guide you as we evolve your mindset and body; to show you the feats you’re capable of and what you never dreamed was possible; so you are able to step up to the next level and take control of your life through an unshakable mindset, becoming a force to be reckoned with.
I started Optimal Training wanting to have the ability to change myself, at my own will and have the power within my own hands to do so. I soon discovered that a lot of the training information put out in the world was confusing and contradictory - I couldn’t fathom how much info was out there, that didn’t link together, and that people just accepted. All it took was a new perspective to piece everything together.
I now train myself and clients through movement and mindset; allowing them to complement each other, creating a whole empowered being. This is what we at Optimal Training call ‘Drengr’ - a person with reckless courage in the face of whatever comes along - with that grit to take life by the horns and tame it to our desires.
So here I am, turning the whole system on its head to create you a bespoke style of training which compliments your lifestyle without having it feel like a chore. The last thing you want is to build resentment because some trainer has told you to be in the gym 6 days a week with 1000 calories of cardio - this is a fast way to failure. I want you to obtain that *umph* to get up and do something about it.

Our philosophy is; If you want something, take it. It is within your moral compass how you go about that, but we strive for greatness through mastery of the self.
AMOR FATI - To not merely bare the necessary burdens of life but to embrace them, knowing that today may be hard, but it makes tomorrow a HELL of a lot easier.

When life gets hard, do you prioritize work, family, friends over yourself?
Then when you finally hit that ‘fuck it’ button you lash out and take control of your health, because it is the only thing you have direct action to be able to take back control. But what if you were able to keep your head in the game and keep the health factor in check, which means you could have continual control and ability to grow.
This means putting yourself first and becoming an Elite version of yourself - those who are able to control their environment and distinguish between what is the best course for them vs allowing the world to dictate how their life is run.
If you are the latter, then I’m not the coach for you.
